Ophelia Wynne is known for her bright, colourful, and energetic style. Her work is accessible and full of life, bringing out something positive and authentic in her subjects. She has a deep passion for discovering colour and energy in unique individuals.
Specialising in social and cultural documentation, her personal work seamlessly spans portraiture, fashion, and advertising. Rather than simply capturing a moment, she observes how people interact, reading their expressions and reactions to bring out the best in them. She often places her subjects in a setting and allows the moment to unfold naturally, spontaneously, fun, and instinctive. While comfortable working anywhere in the world, she is based in the UK.
Ophelia was part of the group exhibition The Face: Culture Shiftat the National Portrait Gallery 2025, showcasing the club kids of the early 2000s from the trailblazing youth culture and style magazine The Face, which has shaped creative and cultural landscapes in Britain and beyond.
Her long-term project Underage Festival resulted in a book featuring a foreword by Craig McLean. The book placed second in the World International Photography Awards.
